Volatile Organic Compound treatment for Emissions in the energy industry
Regulations for controlling hazardous air pollutants have become increasingly stringent, but Linde can help you find ways to lower emissions and heighten your earning power at the same time. Featuring cryo-condensation technology, our volatile organic compound (VOC) recovery system is a highly efficient, flexible alternative to destructive and adsorptive technologies. Using liquid nitrogen as the refrigerant, the cryo-condensation process cools the emissions in a process stream to very low temperatures in proprietary and patented heat exchangers. The VOCs are condensed and return valuable products back into your operation. The refrigeration is supplied through indirect heat exchange with liquid nitrogen. The warmed nitrogen is then utilized for purging and blanketing operations.
Whether your facility's current recovery system is slowing production because of emission limits or increasingly high operating costs, Linde has a portfolio of VOC treatment and recovery options to help you save money and ensure compliance. And because we understand what works for one company may not suit another, we’ll work with you to tailor a system to meet your needs.
