Sub-zero Treatment Offering a leading portfolio of freezers to control the temperature profile, enhance efficiency, lower heat loss and reduce gas consumption in sub zero treatments

Sub-zero treatments using liquid nitrogen help to improve mechanical properties such as hardness and wear resistance. In addition to liquid nitrogen, we also offer cryogenic cooling equipment in various standard and tailored sizes to improve efficiency, lower heat loss and reduce gas consumption.

Applications
CRYOFLEX® B box freezer

Our CRYOFLEX® B cryogenic box freezer is designed for processes where temperatures close to liquid nitrogen may be necessary. The box is well suited to small size production and is loaded from the top. In the freezer, the injection of liquid nitrogen is controlled via an electrically operated cryogenic valve. Sprinklers located on the side of the fan create currents of the cooling media, ensuring optimum performance and efficiency.

  • Temperatures down to -180°C/-292°F (liquid nitrogen)
  • Heating option up to +60°C/ + 140°F to eliminate water condensation
  • Customized designs allow higher temperatures for tempering
  • Nitrogen purge for moisture removal

  • Additional thermocouple for precise and controlled cooling

CRYOFLEX® C cabinet freezer

Our CRYOFLEX® C cryogenic cabinet freezer is designed for processes where temperatures close to liquid nitrogen may be necessary. It is well suited to batch production with front loading. An electric cryogenic valve controls the injection of liquid nitrogen (LIN) into the cabinet. The fans ensure an even temperature within the chamber, allowing for optimum performance and efficiency.

  • Cooling and heating in one unit with temperatures down to -180°C/-292°F and as high as +600°C / +1112°F
  • Gaseous nitrogen purge to remove moisture
  • Easy handling due to process data storage system and PLC system
  • Additional thermocouple for precise and controlled cooling

CRYOFLEX® T tunnel freezer

In a continuous heat-treatment process, it is desirable to avoid extra handling and transportation of parts to be sub-zero treated. To accomplish this, we have developed a continuous conveyor belt in a sub-zero tunnel called CRYOFLEX® T. This freezer can be easily integrated into continuous hardening lines. It is well suited to mass production of small or thin parts such as injectors, springs, bolts and nuts.

  • Minimum temperature: -110°C/ -166°F
  • Standard and customized dimensions and versions on request
  • Controlled cooling and process time thanks to adjustable conveyor speed and injected gas volume
  • Easy menu-driven operation and programming via control panel
  • Additional thermocouple for precise and controlled cooling
