Tumbler freezers can be used to coat prepared foods and meals with coatings and sauces. Batches are prepared by loading the tumbler with the product to be coated, freezing the product surface with liquid nitrogen and then adding the sauce in a very controlled way to rapidly and evenly coat the base product.
One example of this is the AGA Freeze C, a coating tumbler which allows a base product, such as frozen vegetables, to be consistently and easily coated with a sauce or spice mix. This makes it possible to produce a wide range of ready meals in one machine with maximum ease and minimum fuss. Typical products are seafoods, meats, asian dishes and other ethnic meals. |
