Cylinder Prepper

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Count all incoming cylinders. Loads and unloads cylinders. Pull cylinders and verify lot numbers as required.
• Examines returned cylinders for surface defects, such as dents, cracks, and burns, and rolls cylinders to designated work area.
• Segregates out of test cylinders and any defective cylinders as appropriate.
• Removes any and all old labels and cleans cylinders using approved cleaning solution.
• Able to perform all aspects of the Cylinder Filler job description.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, or equivalent required.
• Forklift Training/Experience preferred.
• Must be able to routinely lift 10-20 lbs. and occasionally lift 50 to 100 lbs. Also required to push and pull liquid containers weighing up to 800 pounds.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various degrees of temperatures.
