Customer Service Representative

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Customer Service Representative at our facility. If you are looking for an opportunity to provide outstanding customer service at a company with an outstanding reputation as an employer, this may be the role for you.

Job duties include:

  • Process and package, ship and receive orders (by phone, Web or faxed from customers)
  • Problem-solving with outside sales and customers
  • Inside sales
  • Analyze and maintain customer and sales data
  • Internal customer account management
  • Serve as back-up to drivers
  • Assist field personnel to maintain positive relationships with their clients.
  • Supporting Branch Administrators when needed - A/R, filing and assisting sales department.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma is required; college degree preferred
  • Two or more years Customer Service experience; industrial gas/welding knowledge is preferred
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills
  • Prior experience shipping and receiving is helpful
  • Will be required to lift/move 50# and drive a fork-lift.
  • Class-A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement a big plus
  • Intermediate level computer skills; SAP knowledge a plus.
